Tin Can hires Loxton for entertainment division

Johannesburg: Tin Can Communications has appointed entertainment specialist Yvonne Loxton to launch its new celebrity, music & entertainment division.

The new division will offer celebrity management, events management, concert production, sponsporship, and publicity services.

Prior to joining Tin Can Loxton ran an event management company, and was recently awarded a Sony Platinum disc for the promotion of the Destiny's Child Emotion single. She brings her existing entertainment and celebrity portfolio to Tin Can, which recently announced that it will manage a visit to South Africa by supermodel Naomi Campbell.

Tin Can MD Debby Reader said that as well as focusing on the promotion of local talent globally, the agency is set to promote South Africa to global artists as a guaranteed stop off destination on their tour routes.
