GGi and Kuyasa launch South-African firm

South African agencies Gillian Gamsy International Communications (GGi) and Kuyasa Communications have joined forces to launch a new PR consultancy, Kuyasa GGi.

According to Daryn-Lee Gamsy, executive director of GGI, the new firm is a 'black-empowered PR consultancy,' benefiting from significant black ownership, but also drawing on the international resources and experience of GGI, which is affiliated to Weber Shandwick Worldwide. The agency provides an opportunity to meet the diverse communications challenges of South-African business, said Gamsy.

Nathi Gaisa, of Kuyasa Communications has been appointed managing director of Kuyasa GGi, which will be run from within GGi offices in Johannesburg. He will initially be supported by an account director and account executive, but will also have access to wider GGi resources.
