DIARY: RCA gets the croissants in as it extends a warm invitation to PR industry

London's Royal College of Art is to launch a PR charm offensive next month by staging an inaugural 'PR industry breakfast'.

The event - for which PRWeek is the official media partner - is aimed at in-house and agency PR and marketing directors, and is being held to 'communicate the benefits to businesses' of working with the college and its students, according to head of media relations and marketing at the college Anna Brenard.

Brenard said the college was 'regularly' contacted by PROs about potential collaborations and wanted to 'proactively reach out' to the sector.

The breakfast will take place from 8am on 1 July at the college, located near the Royal Albert Hall. The event will be held during The Show:Two, one of the annual degree shows of graduating students' work.
