International Brief: FEMA seeks comms firm

WASHINGTON: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is looking for a comms firm to conduct a five-year, £7m to £9m integrated campaign, to encourage more Americans to participate in its National Flood Insurance Programme. More than 4.3 million people already participate, but FEMA wants to increase policy purchases by five per cent within 18 months.
