Claudia Bate (pictured) will take the lead on integrating FleishmanHillard UK’s sector and specialist service offerings, including crisis and issues, corporate reporting, ESG and purpose, youth and culture, and sports marketing.
She said: “I look forward to driving a new approach to sectors and specialisms as we evolve our growth strategy. It will ensure that we strategically integrate our targeted subject matter expertise and deliver the highest-quality execution of our client’s campaigns.”
FleishmanHillard UK has reported growth this year in areas including established sector offers such as financial services, technology, healthcare, international affairs, food, agribusiness and beverage.
Bate was in her most recent role for more than four years, having joined the agency in 2017 as head of financial services and fintech. She previously worked at agencies including Bell Pottinger, Hotwire, Edelman and Bite.
Jim Donaldson, FleishmanHillard’s chief executive, UK and Middle East, said: “One of Claudia’s stand-out features over her career with us to date has been her natural ability as an ‘integrator’, so we are thrilled to promote her to this new role, and support her in its development, which we see as a strategic lever of growth for us.”
