2022 Health Influencer 30: David Kyne

Group president of communications, Evoke Group

Evoke’s main ambitions are to grow and continue to invest in communications. As part of that goal, David Kyne was named earlier this year to the role of Evoke’s group president of communications, reporting to Evoke founder and CEO Reid Connolly.

Evoke's constituent parts number specialty agency units including Evoke Navience. Kyne oversees the development and diversification of Evoke’s global communications offering. Evoke has offices in New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, Dublin, Princeton and Chicago.

Evoke Kyne is now part of Inizio after former parent company Huntsworth merged with Ashfield Health and rebranded.

In July, Evoke acquired Meltmedia and just weeks before that, Evoke and Ashfield Health integrated their medical marketing and communications arms under the Evoke banner.

Kyne started his eponymous agency in 2009 with the goal of connecting public and private organizations to help address unmet health needs, believing that targeted, strategic and creative communications can be a powerful health intervention.

Earlier in his career, Kyne led the New York healthcare practice at Hill+Knowlton Strategies and worked at WPP sibling GCI Group.
