Hayman quit TCG after four years with the group to join H&K as a director in its corporate comms practice.
At H&K, he will join fellow director Suzanne Prance, reporting to corporate MD Stuart Wilson.
H&K head of corporate affairs Andy Pharoah said Hayman’s appointment was made to boost senior representation: ‘It’s partly to meet the needs of existing clients, but also forms part of our plans to grow the business.’
Hayman joins H&K next month, and Pharoah added that the agency is still working out which clients he will work on.
TCG is now beginning its hunt for Hayman’s successor and is in talks with headhunters over candidates.
TCG chairman Maureen Smith said they are looking internally and externally for a replacement, and are hoping to make an appointment within the next few weeks.
