Former NatWest PRO takes role at Business School

Former NatWest head of brand communications David Lane has joined London Business School as director of communications.

Lane quits his current role as director of marketing and customer relationship management at the Department of Trade and Industry’s Export Credits Guarantee Department to take up the business school post on 19 May.

He becomes the LBS’s first permanent director of communications since Lorna Macleod left a year ago.

Associate dean of external relations Jennifer Laing has been acting as the school’s comms chief in the interim.

Lane said: ‘I’ll be working to help define what the school stands for and promote its aspirations to be the world’s pre-eminent global business school.’
