Those shortlisted include Weber Shandwick, Citigate SMARTS, Indigo PR and Pagoda PR for the Best Large Consultancy. HBOS, Scottish Power, the Scottish Qualifications Authority and Greater Glasgow & Clyde Valley Tourist Board are nominated for Best In-House Team.

Meanwhile, the IPR is launching its own regional awards scheme, following the decision by Drum owner Carnyx to scrap the existing Cream initiative, which it ran with another of its products, Adline.
‘There were awards in every single region, and we just felt it wasn’t viable, said MD Diane Young. However, Young confirmed that the advertising and design element of the Cream Awards are set to continue.
The PRide Awards are due to take place from November.
