The campaign – which is due to kick off next month – aims to promote the ‘forward-thinking’ nature of the media, PR and comms sector in Leeds across the country. According to CEO Terry Morden, the campaign marks the first time the city’s media sector has promoted itself at a national level.
Lynx PR – which has been Leeds Media’s retained agency for almost a year – will handle media relations, while broader marcoms and events work will be handled by local agencies Poulter Partners and Brahm respectively.
Leeds Media – which draws its membership from around 160 companies – is part-funded by Leeds City Council and regional development agency Yorkshire Forward.
l Poulter Partners is to launch a PR push for Snuggledown of Norway, the duvet and pillow manufacturer. The agency – which won the work last month – has been hired to promote the launch of a range called Wash and Dry Me.
