DIARY: Even a 'friendly' PR girl may struggle to find love

Harvey Nichols senior press officer Joanna Jeffreys last week became the latest PRO to volunteer for having her love life subjected to a searching analysis in Associated Newspapers' pages.

The 32-year-old fashionista - introduced as a 'successful London career girl who has been single for three years' - detailed her troubles in finding a partner, even telling the Evening Standard that she was beginning to feel the pressure to 'produce a grandchild'.

Turning to her job at the Knightsbridge-based retail emporium, she was reported as saying: 'Working in PR means that you have to be friendly, so I don't think I scare men off.'

But when approached by PRWeek, the lonesome lovely said she would only answer questions by email.
