Brodeur appoints Lewis ahead of its push in marcoms

Tech and B2B agency Brodeur Worldwide has appointed Tania Lewis to spearhead a growth push for its newly created marcoms division.

The appointment follows the agency's successful pitch for Argos Business Solutions' PR account, won by a team led by Lewis - who at that time was working on a freelance basis but has now joined the staff as senior account director (PRWeek, 14 March).

Brodeur Worldwide CEO Simon Ward said the marcoms team - which has six staff - would be 'grown according to need', as the agency embarks on an aggressive push for marcoms business.

Ward said he envisaged 'three or four PR people (of Brodeur's 40 UK staff) expanding their remit to include marcoms'.

He said the marcoms division effectively replaces Brodeur's design and interactive arm, disbanded two years ago.
