Caesar-Gordon is set to grow firms after his MBO deal

Former Cabinet Office PR adviser Andrew Caesar-Gordon has sealed a management buy-out deal at media training and broadcast PR companies Electric Airwaves and Ladbroke Productions.

MD Caesar-Gordon signed the deal - funded via a mix of venture capital and debt finance - last week, and pledged to double the companies' size by 2006.

He said: 'We have increased our service offer into broadcast PR and radio marcoms over the past 18 months, and it made sense to put the ownership of the business onto a new footing.'

Sarah Dickinson, who founded the two companies more than 20 years ago, remains as a director but is now working mainly for the company as a freelance media trainer.

Between them, Electric Airwaves and Ladbroke Productions have six full-time staff but use more than 30 freelances, according to Caesar-Gordon.
