The May issue, which hits the newsstands today (Friday), is Sugar's first issue published with the 16-page supplement, which has been designed to give readers 'added value', according to Sugar editor Claire Irvin.
Irvin said: 'Celeb Central gives us a celebrity cover, which we know helps celebrity PROs in securing exclusives for their clients. Despite many of our competitors going for celebrity covers, we've stayed true to our policy of featuring models on the Sugar cover.'
The supplement will be produced by Sugar's existing editorial staff, said Irvin, adding that PROs keen to contribute to Celeb Central should contact herself, fashion and style director Jane Gill and features editor Richard Dunnett.
Pagination in the main magazine will be unchanged, said Irvin, who added that Celeb Central would mean 'more celebrities and more gossip'.
