MEDIA: New PCPlus ed to forge better links with the industry

Future Publishing's computer title PCPlus has appointed Ian Robson as editor with a remit to forge stronger links with the computer industry.

Robson joins from rival magazine PCPro, where he acted as associate editor, to take charge of the 17-year-old title and its ten-strong editorial team.

He takes over from Adam Evans, who left the 73,261-selling monthly last week to become editor at recently launched sister publication Digital Camera Magazine.

Group publisher Dave Taylor, to whom Robson reports, said: 'Ian is very commercially minded and his task will be to help cement our relationship with the industry, which has not been as strong as it could have been despite our 17-year heritage.'
