Movers & Shakers: Golin, Zeno, and more

PR Week Asia's weekly round-up of account wins and people moves.


Golin announced the expansion of its China operations, with the launch of an integrated marketing communications offering to be led by newly appointed Zita Wang. Rooted in data intelligence and designed to create cultural movements that drive brand conversion along the customer journey, the new offering underlines Golin’s aim to enhance digital services in this area. Wang joins Golin after having led the Shanghai digital practice as senior vice president at Weber Shandwick, and holding roles at BCW. In her new role, she reports to Lydia Shen, managing director of Golin China.

Tire company Goodyear has selected Zeno to handle as its PR and integrated comms agency following a pitch. Zeno will support Goodyear's APAC headquarters and other Asian offices. The assignment will focus on external and internal communications, covering corporate messaging, brand image, product communications, executive profiling, and media relations. Zeno’s China team will serve as a regional hub office working closely with Zeno offices and partners in Australia, India, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore. The agency has served as a partner for Goodyear’s integrated communication in the US and UK since 2019.

Indoor skydiving service iFly Singapore has appointed Ruder Finn Asia as its partner for all PR matters. The one-year appointment sees the agency responsible for the provision of strategic counsel and media relations to strengthen its client’s positioning in the sports and lifestyle spaces, and to enhance the brand’s entire spectrum of marketing campaigns. A component of the appointment also covers venue publicity for Sky Garden Sentosa—the rooftop event space owned by and located at iFly Singapore.

Singapore leisure and attractions company Mount Faber Leisure Group has appointed Upcycle Communications as its PR agency of record in Singapore and regional markets. Following a pitch, Upcycle was awarded a 12-month retainer with the option to renew for an additional year. The full-service scope includes strategy, media and KOL relations, partnerships, crisis communications from planning through to execution, for brand and tactical media campaigns.

B2B risk management and monitoring platform Rubix Data Sciences has appointed Pitchfork Partners for its communication strategies. Pitchfork will spearhead strategic communication for Rubix through insights-based analytics to support growth and strengthen its brand narrative.
