Jack restructures after Henderson departs to join GQ

LONDON - Newcomer Jack has restructured its editorial team following the decision to go monthly and the departure to GQ of deputy editor Paul Henderson.

His role has been dispensed with, and Brendan Fitzgerald has been promoted from senior editor of the IFG men's title to managing editor.

Meanwhile Dan Davies, former sports editor of John Brown Citrus' Sky customer magazine, has joined as commissioning editor.

Fitzgerald, who has freelanced for Jack since the launch issue late last year, said: 'We needed to create more editorial positions going monthly.' The editorial mix of the title, focused on men's lifestyle, entertainment, action and animals, will not change, he added.

Fitzgerald knew Jack editor James Brown when both were assistant editors at the NME.
