MEDIA: FT's Davis leaves Creative Business to edit Inside Track

FT Creative Business editor Andrew Davis has quit to take a new role heading the newspaper's management, business and technology features section, Inside Track.

Davis, who joined the Financial Times in 1995, is to take up his new role next month, replacing Andrew Edgcliffe-Johnson, who has been made deputy news editor.

An announcement on Davis's replacement, to head the weekly media and marketing supplement, is expected within weeks.

An insider said that an internal appointment was likely, adding that Emiko Terazono, Davis's deputy, had applied for the job.

Other recent movements of senior staff at the paper include Tracy Corrigan's appointment as editor of (PRWeek, 24 January 2003).
