CHICAGO: Risk intelligence company Crisp has appointed Richard Pasewark as chief revenue officer.
Based in Chicago, Pasewark will be responsible for growing the company's commercial function and building relationships with key prospects, especially its roster of Fortune 500 brands.
Pasewark was brought on to support Crisp's momentum, which it said grew in the last year as disinformation and misinformation had a bigger impact on brands.
"It is critical for companies and platforms to understand the way in which intelligence from online social chatter can provide an early warning advantage to address and mitigate risks to their brands, people and assets,” Pasewark said.
He will also spearhead the growth of Crisp’s footprint in North America, with more than 85% of the company’s revenue coming from U.S.-based companies.
Pasewark has joined Crisp from Tinyclues, where he was president, COO and then strategic adviser. He also worked at Brandwatch, where he was brought on to help the company go public.
Also joining Crisp this month is chief data officer Kevin Fletcher, who was previously chief data officer for Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs. Fletcher will be based in the U.K.
