VENTURA, CA: Eric Hollister Williams has joined Patagonia in a communications role focused on brand, equity and justice.
In the newly created position, Williams will focus on internal and external comms related to advancing justice, equity and inclusion and supply chain transparency.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to join Patagonia and take what I’ve learned working for foundations and in politics and bring this all to bear on a new set of issues and challenges, chief among them, protecting and preserving our planet," Williams said via email. "There is perhaps no greater mission and it will take all us to do it. I’m very excited to join this extraordinary organization.”
Williams is joining Patagonia from Precision Strategies, where he was a managing principal and led strategic communications strategy for corporate and nonprofit clients focused on healthcare, climate change, elections, racial equity and economic opportunity.
Previously, he was a VP at Fenton and special projects director on former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.
