Manifest has been brought in to develop an integrated consumer campaign to help launch the shopping platform in the spring. The work will be carried out across the agency’s Manchester and London offices.
Dayrize aims to become the biggest online consumer marketplace for sustainable products. It was founded by Bart Nollen, Eva Gladek, Austin Simms and Vincent Hoogduijn, who between them have more than 40 years of experience in the ecommerce and sustainability spheres.
The platform aims to tackle ‘greenwashing’ by helping consumers make informed decisions about the environmental impact and eco-credentials of products. It hopes to shrink the environmental footprint of consumerism, and change attitudes around shopping and consumption.
“At Dayrize, our ambition is to reframe sustainable shopping – making it accessible and aspirational for everyone. It’s a bold ambition, and to create communication plans that do it justice we needed an agency partner who believes in the power of brands to change the world,” Dayrize COO Austin Simms said.
“When we met Alex and the team at Manifest there was an instant connection as our missions aligned. The journey so far together has been energising and inspiring, and we’re just getting started.”
Manifest Manchester managing director Bec Chelin said: “This is an experienced, strategic team and a powerful brand looking to not only change how we shop, but what we shop, how we measure our impact on the planet, and – ultimately – change the world in which we live for the better. We couldn’t be more excited or proud to be part of phase one of Dayrize’s success story – creatively, environmentally and societally."
