Good Advice Public Relations offers strategy and execution for media relations and digital campaigns, and will operate from Boston and London.

The agency launches with two foundation clients in the tech and market intelligence sectors.

Its founders previously worked together at Nelson Bostock Unlimited in London.

David Claxton has also worked at Hume Brophy, Atomic PR (now Grayling) and Clarity, but was most recently the lead on Google’s press office for Nelson Bostock, where he was an account director. He has also worked with clients including Avis Car Hire and Pernod Ricard.

Claxton relocated to Boston at the start of 2020.

Dima Vasilenco previously worked at Edelman and Nelson Bostock, with clients including Bose, Canon, Google, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Microsoft and Mastercard. He has also worked as a freelance campaign strategist for the US Department of State and the United Nations.

“The motivation to start an agency was always there for both myself and Dima, and my move to the US market made this idea into a reality,” Claxton said. “We feel we’ve got the experience and expertise to assist clients with their comms challenges across key markets.”

Vasilenco added: “We both come from different backgrounds and bring different skills and vision to what we do, which we think is essential for our clients’ success. Our advantage is strategic precision and creativity.”
