After a one-year hiatus due to COVID-19, W Series moves into its second season in 2021, boosted by a new partnership with Formula 1 that means races will be held at eight F1 race weekends. Circumstances permitting, it is due to run from June to October this year.
Jennie Stoddart-Scott has a wealth of experience in consumer engagement, brand-building and corporate reputation, with stints at PR agencies Freuds, Fever, Teneo and Lexis.
Most recently, she was head of communications at the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), working on raising the sport's profile and attracting new audiences. There she was part of the team that won Best Crisis Comms Around the Coronavirus at the recent PRWeek Corporate, City & Public Affairs Awards.
During five years at Freuds, Stoddart-Scott led a team delivering behaviour change campaigns for Public Health England, ran the Mars UK press office, and worked on a series of gender equality campaigns for clients including the Equality and Human Rights Commission and the Mayor of London.
