Havas Just:: hires new CEO from BCW

Nicole Yost has been appointed chief executive of healthcare agency Havas Just::.

The agency’s previous chief executive, Jennie Talman, announced she was stepping down from the role after 15 years in post.

In addition to her role at the firm, Yost will be a member of the EU leadership team of Havas Just:: parent company Havas Health & You (HH&Y).

She will report to will report to John Hackney, chief executive of HH&Y Europe.

Talman, meanwhile, will act as an executive advisor to Havas Just:: and will continue to work with its clients.

Yost joins Havas Just:: after less than a year at BCW, where she was appointed to the new role of managing director of healthcare business transformation.

She was previously joint managing director, London, at Porter Novelli, having joined the agency in 2015 to lead its healthcare practice.

Commenting on her new role, Yost said: “Havas Just:: has a strong reputation and a distinct personality. I am excited to be part of its future and am also looking forward to getting to know the team as well as my global colleagues.”

Yost said there was a window of opportunity for pharma companies to transform their relationship with the public.

She added: “My ambition is for Havas Just:: to play a critical role in helping our clients to shape the post-pandemic conversation around the provision and value of healthcare.”

Just Health:: was founded 15 years ago as an integrated healthcare PR and medical comms agency, and was acquired by Havas in 2015.

Talman said the agency’s culture was one in which people felt supported to do their bravest work.

She added: “This commitment to people explains our steady growth and client retention over the years, and will remain central to our culture under Nicole’s leadership.”
