Oddbox begins PR agency review

Oddbox, a service designed to reduce food waste by delivering cosmetically imperfect and surplus produce to consumers, is looking for a PR agency to support it across a broad comms remit, PRWeek has learned.

Oddbox, which was founded in 2016, aims to “rescue”, directly from farms, fruit and vegetables that do not meet supermarkets' cosmetic specifications or are surplus to the requirements of other customers – for example, suppliers to the hospitality industry while businesses are forced to remain closed during lockdown.

The box scheme is looking for an agency to provide PR, social, influencer and experiential support.

It has worked with KTRPR, which has provided press office support, and digital agency Journey Further.

PRWeek understands Oddbox now wants a single agency to cover its comms channels. Creativebrief is handling the pitch process.
