Weber Shandwick has promoted Vanessa Ho Nikolovski (pictured above) to chief client & growth officer, Asia Pacific. She was previously managing director in Singapore and chair of client services, Asia Pacific.
In her newly created, cross-region role, Nikolovski will apply her strategic ability and client management expertise in overseeing regional practice leadership, marketing, and new business development with a key focus on the strategic growth and opportunities for the firm's APAC business. She has been at Weber Shandwick for just under 20 years.
Baxter Jolly, APAC CEO at Weber Shandwick, said: "Vanessa's contribution to our clients is immeasurable; I consider her one of the best client professionals I have known throughout my career. It's been both a pleasure and an inspiration watching her work and grow over the past two decades of our history together."
Meanwhile, Albert Shu will be promoted to president, Hong Kong and Singapore. Shu, currently managing director of the Hong Kong office, will oversee both offices and will "deepen the synergy between the firm's two regional hubs". His new role will require him to provide a unified workflow for the firm's regional clients as well as those seeking a multi-market approach. Shu has been at Weber Shandwick for over 16 years.
