The CEO discusses her agency’s positive numbers moving into 2021, taking care of employees through the pandemic and re-evaluating the firm’s purpose.

For the first Coffee Break of 2021, Zeno Group CEO Barby Siegel spoke about the firm’s successes in 2020 and optimism for the new year.

She also discussed the growth of the firm and competing with sister agency Edelman on the shortlist for Outstanding Large Agency in the PRWeek US Awards 2021, as well as taking care of employees through the pandemic and establishing the agency’s own purpose after conducting similar work for clients.

“We were in the trenches with our clients, helping them with their purpose dealing with an array of social issues,” she explained. “And while Zeno has always been a purposeful agency, we decided to embark upon the process that we have done for so many clients. We have been working over the last several months to articulate our own purpose.”
