PHILADELPHIA: Ashok Sinha has joined media company Entercom as SVP of corporate communications and PR.
Reporting to CMO Paul Suchman, Sinha will be a member of the company's executive leadership team and lead communications strategy across Entercom's portfolio of assets.
Sinha will oversee internal and external communications, media and press relations, corporate messaging, crisis communications, issues management and executive thought leadership management.
“Ashok is the perfect candidate to spearhead the evolution of our corporate communications and PR function as we further our position as a leading, multiplatform audio content and entertainment company,” Suchman said in a statement. “His experience driving communications strategies for prominent media companies along with his deep industry knowledge is a winning combination as Entercom continues to build the future of audio.”
Sinha has replaced Esther-Mireya Tejeda, who left Entercom in September to become chief marketing and communications officer at Sound Exchange.
Previously, Sinha was VP and communications lead for technology for WarnerMedia. He led internal and external communications strategy for the company's technology organization and employee communications across direct-to-consumer, sales and distribution divisions.
Sinha also worked on WarnerMedia’s corporate communications team leading executive communications, media and events and has held senior roles at companies such as Publicis Media, NBCUniversal, Viacom and Product(Red).
