Pitch Update: Cyberpunk 2077, Cignpost Diagnostics, Juicy Couture, Noah's Ark Foundation and more

PRWeek's weekly round-up of pitches and account moves.

The Academy won the UK brief to launch one of the most anticipated video games in recent years, Cyberpunk 2077, which came out yesterday.

Launch has been appointed by Cignpost Diagnostics, a UK COVID-19 screening service, to lead all its b2b comms, in addition to launching ExpressTest, its b2c service. The integrated and retained programme sees the Launch team of six working across media relations, social media, content creation and event co-ordination. Both accounts will be led by Launch COO Juliet Cameron and director of brand and content Babs Watson.   

Claire Barber PR has been appointed as the global comms agency for the Noah’s Ark Foundation, which is carrying out one of the biggest conservation projects in history. The agency, which was hired without a competitive pitch, will handle all global comms.

Pickleson Paint Co has appointed Boldspace to drive PR following a competitive pitch. The agency will work to create awareness of the Pickleson brand among its key target audience, with specific focus on its Protego Antimicrobial product. The work will be led by Boldspace co-founder and managing director Mike Robb.

Jargon PR has been appointed by Emergent Alliance – a not-for-profit organisation established during the COVID-19 pandemic to better inform the future decision-making of corporations, small businesses, and nation states. The partnership will see Jargon PR generate awareness of the support provided by the Alliance.

Raven has been appointed to represent Batra Group's Juicy Couture. The agency will handle communications and talent and influencer marketing output on behalf of the Juicy Couture brand in the UK. It will also look after “the next chapter of visual direction, special projects across leading retailers, and all Juicy Couture collaborations in the UK and across Europe”. 

Sister London has been appointed by The Italians to handle all PR and social media management, with a focus on the launch of its new wine bar concept in Marylebone Village opening this month. In two other wins, the agency has been appointed by Los Angeles based skincare brand Skin Laundry to manage the PR, marketing and communications strategy for its first European clinic and store; and it will lead PR for Wax London

Browser-based video meeting tool Whereby has hired Words + Pixels to handle its PR and influencer after a year of growth in the video conferencing category. The brief includes influencer activity to further amplify campaign spikes.
