Claudia Romo Edelman is championing the voices of the Latino and Hispanic community in the U.S., seeking to unite the diaspora in common agendas. The founder and CEO of We Are All Human joined Coffee Break this week to discuss the virtual Hispanic Leadership Summit, the economic power of the Hispanic population in the U.S., what the election showed us about treating the community as one entity, and losing her mother to COVID-19 this summer after a long fight against the illness.
On the goals of the Hispanic Leadership Summit, Edelman states: “We have more than 2,000 participants who will come together to unify under a strategic framework to create a shared agenda to advance our community together, with one or two things that we will advance together, and make sure that that agenda is known by the next administration and we push it through corporate America and the media.”
Coffee Break is a weekly 15-minute intermission in your working day to discover more about PR pros who occupy interesting roles across the industry, live each Wednesday morning by 11 a.m. ET.
