Hargrave is a Portland partner and head of strategy, planning, analytics, research and creative. He is a lead counsel to clients across telecoms, financial services, gambling, food and drink, and entertainment.
He will join Deliveroo in February. A Deliveroo spokesperson told PRWeek: "We are very excited about Nick joining Deliveroo as director of public affairs.
"He brings great government and public affairs experience to the business and we look forward to welcoming him to the team next year."
Hogwood, a senior partner, leads Portland Local, which provides public affairs advice to clients about local, regional and city politics.
He will join Landsec early next year as its head of corporate affairs, PRWeek understands.
Last month Caroline Hill, Landsec’s group director of corporate affairs and sustainability, joined Lloyds Banking Group in a new role in its Responsible Business practice.
PRWeek understands Hogwood is not a direct successor to Hill and that his role focuses on corporate affairs. Landsec declined to comment on his appointment.
Portland’s managing director, Sam Ingleby, told PRWeek: “Chris and Nick have been fantastic colleagues and we’re delighted to see them go on to such big jobs.
"We’ve always believed that one of the reasons to work at Portland is not just the experience you get but where it can take you. They’re both stars and Deliveroo and Landsec are lucky to have them.”
In July, PRWeek revealed that Portland is restructuring most of its global business under a single P&L, with Ingleby appointed as MD of the combined operation.
