Square in the Air hires global betting marketer to lead social media division

Square in the Air – a marcomms agency that specialises in betting, gaming and sports clients – has appointed former William Hill, PokerStars and Betfair marketer Richard Bloch as a director.

Richard Bloch, who brings more than 20 years of experience in social media, PR and content roles, will be responsible for the firm’s social media division.

He has previously served as the international PR manager for Betfair and in global social media leadership roles at William Hill and PokerStars.

“I am delighted to join the award-winning team at Square in the Air,” Bloch said. “It’s an exciting time in the company’s development and I look forward to leveraging my past experience in social media, PR and content to provide expertise as we continue to look at new areas of growth in the sport, betting and gaming space.”

Square in the Air’s client base includes Hong Kong Jockey Club, Sporting Index, The Saudi Cup and William Hill.
