Ketchum’s Mike Doyle started as an account coordinator 25 years ago and, in June 2020, was named CEO. This week on Coffee Break, Doyle joined PRWeek’s Steve Barrett to discuss his path to CEO, the continued robustness of consumer PR, and how the company has navigated a difficult year, while prioritizing employees and clients.
Doyle also talked about how consumer priorities have changed in the last year and what he sees for brands moving into 2021.
“Consumers are prioritizing the important purpose work that brands are doing,” Doyle states. “[Consumers prioritize] how brands are showing up in a way that is advancing inclusion, that is celebrating the diversity and inclusion that is so important to consumers and should be. We’re seeing behaviors change, and expectations have never been higher for brands.”
