Publicis Groupe has announced the appointment of Eddi Yang as general manager of MSL Beijing to lead their overall operations and business development in Beijing. Yang has more than two decades of experience in communications, marketing and corporate affairs.
Prior to MSL, she served as the director of external affairs, Mead Johnson China and as vice president and general manager of Golin Harris in Beijing. She also held management positions at Ketchum, Ruder Finn and Ogilvy. In her new role, she will report to Oliver Xu, CEO of Publics Communications Beijing as well as Margaret Key, CEO, APAC & MEA.
Meanwhile, Liza Zhang has been named general manager of MSL Shanghai and Guangzhou. She will oversee operations and development in both markets supported by a team of 130 consultants. Zhang has 15 years of experience having built core expertise in areas such as corporate branding and reputation management, business communications, internal corporate communications and change management. Previously, she served as vice president in the firm's corporate communications and aided in MSL's transformation into a business-driven strategic communications consultancy.
Zhang will continue to be based in Shanghai, reporting to Arto Hampartsoumian, managing partner and executive chairman of Publicis Groupe China as well as CEO Key. Mindy Yuan, general manager of MSL Guangzhou, continues to lead the Guangzhou office and reports to Zhang.
