Coffee Break with Fast’s Jason Alderman

The CCO chats about working at a startup during the pandemic, true one-click checkout, the changing landscape of tech media and using Twitter for marketing and hiring.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, online shopping has become a necessity. Jason Alderman, CCO for Fast, joins Coffee Break to explain how the startup seeks to make online shopping a true one-click experience, as well as how the company has handled hiring and working from home during the pandemic.

Alderman also talks about the ways that reporting around tech companies has changed, and the company’s priorities for media outreach.

“We really want to get in front of sellers, online merchants who are selling. We want them to understand our value proposition of Fast checkout and why they should install Fast checkout on their sites,” Alderman explains. “Some of that is trade media, some of that is mainstream media … [and] the other big piece is hiring.”

Coffee Break is a weekly 15-minute intermission in your working day to discover more about PR pros who occupy interesting roles across the industry, live each Wednesday morning by 11 a.m. ET.
