MWWPR UK managing director steps down

Rebecca Blinston-Jones, UK managing director of MWWPR, is leaving the company to "pursue new opportunities and fresh challenges".

Blinston-Jones (pictured) – who helped launch the US-headquartered, independent agency in London following its 2013 acquisition of Parys Communications – has been in the role since 2018, when former MD Paddy Herridge became UK chairman.

She revealed her move in a post on Linkedin:

MWWPR CEO Michael Kempner said: "We are grateful to Rebecca for her many contributions to MWWPR. We wish her great happiness and success in the next steps of her career and will always consider her a member of our extended MWW family."

Blinston-Jones joined Parys Communications in 2012, the year before its acquisition by MWWPR. She previously held roles at Text 100 and worked at Mantra PR for nine years until it was sold to Loewy and became Speed Communications. She later headed Speed's business communications team.

Herridge departed from MWWPR at the start of 2019, later joining Bluestripe Group as chairman.

Kempner was recently inducted into the PRWeek US Hall of Fame.
