Coffee Break with Anheuser-Busch’s Jennifer Morris

The brewing giant’s VP of communications talks about changing beer trends and the company’s role in helping bars and restaurants during the pandemic.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the beverage industry has been labeled an essential service, and Anheuser-Busch’s Jennifer Morris and her team made sure their product is being consumed and shared safely across the nation.

The brewer’s VP of communications joined Coffee Break to discuss how the company helped supply restaurants and bars with tools to stay open safely during the pandemic, as well as its production shift to hand sanitizer.

She noted the company also increased hand sanitizer production for the election as part of its voting initiative, especially as a longtime sponsor of the presidential debates.

The pandemic has also shifted the brewer’s approach to internal communications, which Morris believes has positively affected the workforce.

“The more we can communicate with our employees, the easier it is to turn them into advocates for our companies,” Morris explained.

Coffee Break is a weekly 15-minute intermission in your working day to discover more about PR pros who occupy interesting roles across the industry, live each Wednesday morning by 11 a.m. ET.
