Boldspace has hired four staff across client services, digital, PR and design, bringing its total workforce to 17 after its first six months of operation.
The appointments include Chelsea Konadu as a consultant in the PR team and Dan Jenkins as head of client services.
Konadu joins from hotel group Hilton, where she worked as a communications executive covering EMEA corporate and consumer activity.
Jenkins is a former managing partner at Arnold Worldwide and previously held roles with agencies including M&C Saatchi Group's Lida.
He joins the senior management team and will oversee Boldspace's client service operations.
Other hires include Greg McCann, who joins as a digital consultant from digital marketing agency Ledger Bennett and will lead on SEO. Aurelie Virely joins as Boldspace's first full-time graphic designer.
The agency was set up in May by former Engine MHP head of financial services Mike Robb and Nick Ford-Young (previously managing director of Studio Black Tomato) and Simon Sherwood (former global chief executive of BBH). The agency has 16 clients in sectors including technology, healthcare, financial services, ecommerce, and energy.
“These hires add significant experience to our team and are a vital part of building an offering that can deliver truly agile communications, with the capability to deliver across all parts of the marketing communications mix,” Robb said.
“Very few agencies of our size and stage have hired such a diverse team and set of skills, which I hope tells a story about our ambition and how we are seeking to do things differently.”
