Elizabeth Bae will be EVP for the firm’s corporate practice in South Korea.

BCW Korea lead moves to Weber Shandwick

Korea veteran Elizabeth Bae (pictured above) will move to Weber Shandwick to lead the corporate practice in the market, reporting to APAC vice chair and North Asia managing director Tyler Kim. Bae was previously market leader at BCW Korea where she drove growth and innovation.

Prior to that, she was senior director of the corporate and consume practice at Edelman Korea where she provided counsel for global brands across a variety of industries. Her track record in issues management includes advising companies faced with legal disputes and labour conflict to product issues and organisational restructuring.

"Elizabeth has a deep understanding of the communications landscape within Korea as well as the potential opportunities and challenges our clients constantly need to solve," said Kim.
