At MHP Health, Nick Hoile will help grow its global public affairs and policy business, which represents half the team’s work.

Hoile joins from rival healthcare agency Publicis Resolute, recently rebranded as Langland, where he worked for nearly two years as director of government affairs.

He was previously at MHP Health for more than five years, rising to the position of director before he left the agency.

Kate Pogson, head of health at MHP, welcomed Hoile backto the agency.

She added: “Our team’s ambition is to grow our policy and public affairs work to encompass more creative and digitally-led activities, while… providing clients detailed understanding of their policy and access environments. Nick’s appointment enables us to stay true to our heritage and reputation as a leading healthcare PA team, and we are so pleased to have him back in the family.”

Hoile began his comms career as a policy officer with the Mental Health Foundation before taking a political and policy role at the charity coalition National Voices.

His first agency work was for specialist former healthcare agency Advocate Policy and Public Affairs, where he worked for four years before joining MHP.

Commenting on his return to the agency, Hoile told PRWeek: “I can’t think of a team I’d rather work with than MHP’s Health practice. My aim is to build on MHP’s heritage in health policy and access to medicine, working with digital and creative colleagues to create above-country campaigns that truly shift the needle for patients.”
