The Paris office is Red Lorry Yellow Lorry's fifth office, after London, Berlin, Boston and Los Angeles. The agency also works with the global Convoy network of 30 agency partners covering more than 50 countries on six continents.
The European operations will be overseen by Hélène Joubert, who brings more than 15 years of PR and marketing experience to the role. She previously served as deputy GM at Ballou for more than five years and has worked with clients including Epson-Seiko, Cornerstone On Demand, RedHat, Jive and Expedia.
The French office has already won a new client, consulting and training firm Cubik Partners. The brief includes media relations, and raising brand awareness and the profile of Cubik Partners’ spokespeople.
Joubert will work with Red Lorry Yellow Lorry’s UK director, Hannah Patel, and US director Meredith Eaton to manage client services and drive growth across Europe.
“France is becoming an increasingly important market for our clients. We’ve seen a significant uptick in engagement in the country over the past few months, which is testament to the hard work of our teams in such challenging times,” the agency's chief executive, Guy Walsingham said.
“This new office in the heart of Paris marks an exciting step forwards, enabling us to better focus on local clients and provide on-the-ground support to those looking to expand into the country. We pride ourselves on attracting quality talent and Hélène certainly fits that description.”
Joubert added: “The 'lorries' have showcased their strengths by rising to the challenge of maintaining growth despite the turbulent events of 2020. On top of that, the agency is continuing to invest in the future with European development plans, so we’ve got an exciting journey ahead of us.”
