London-based agency Catalyst PR is shutting down after 25 years in business.

The firm will maintain its full roster of clients until it closes its doors on 22 December.

Founders and directors John and Marian Paterson are retiring, while managing director Johnny Paterson is going to work full time as chief executive of a business he founded with his wife, lip balm brand Dr.PAWPAW.

Catalyst’s current clients are Yardley of London, Milani, and Stylideas. It has previously worked with Goldwell, Revlon Professional, Wetbrush and Nutribullet, as well as hairdressers Errol Douglas, Robert Eaton and Sean Hanna.

John Paterson said: “On behalf of Marian, Johnny and myself, I would like to thank all of our past and current staff, all the press and media who have supported us and, of course, a very special thank you goes to our clients, who have supported Catalyst PR along the way and made this incredible journey possible. Thank you. It’s been fun.”

The agency declined to provide further details on the staff and clients who will be affected.
