Natalie Boden, founder and president of Boden PR, marked the end of Hispanic Heritage Month by emphasising the importance of diverse representation and culturally strategic communications.
In conversation with PRWeek editorial director Steve Barrett for a special Cafecito Break, Boden said: “The social awakening we’re experiencing in the U.S. this year has taught us how important it is to communicate to certain segments in a culturally relevant way.
“It is [about a] commitment to the segment’s cultural truths, and the journeys each of us have gone through as individuals and as a community.”
Boden also discussed changes her agency has made through the COVID-19 pandemic and building initiatives that speak to a collective Hispanic community across a variety of individual cultural backgrounds.
