CHICAGO: Cision has released relationship management software Cision Connect, a platform that gives PR and communications professionals access to a network of more than 1.1 billion journalists, influencers and media outlets.
Built on Cision's media and influencer database, Cision Connect was created to help communications teams target, pitch and build relationships with the media, according to Cision CEO Abel Clark.

Cision Connect features intelligent searching and filtering technology to help users discover which journalists and social influencers are most relevant to them.
The technology also allows users to personalize pitches using individualized media profiles that include the latest social media activity, recently published articles and article reach from journalists and influencers.
The platform also manages media relationships through automatic team activity tracking and pitch performance metrics. Users can measure the success of their outreach with statistics such as email opens and unsubscribes and view the ROI of their campaigns using the monitoring and analytics available in the Next Generation Cision Communications Cloud.
