Chelsea Digital Ventures (CDV), a digital-first business spun out of the Premier League club, is on the hunt for a PR agency to help launch a new product.
PRWeek understands chemistry sessions have been held with a number of agencies in a review process that could be concluded by the end of this month.
Details about the new product are tightly guarded, but PRWeek understands it is an e-product that promotes exercise.
Creativebrief is helping the club with the pitch process, but neither the consultancy or CDV would comment on the review.
CDV was set up by the football club to launch digitally led consumer products that appeal to a broader consumer market outside of football and the Chelsea fanbase.
It recently went to market with the Blue Fuel nutrition service, which was launched in a campaign by Brooklyn Brothers earlier this year.
