Judging for next year’s PRWeek Awards U.S. will be led by one of the most brilliant communicators in the restaurant industry. Jerilan Greene, Yum Brands chief communications and public affairs officer and Yum Foundation chairman and CEO, has been named chair of judges for the 2021 edition of the biggest awards gala in the PR industry.
For more than two decades, the PRWeek Awards has firmly been established as the communications industry’s highest accolade. It celebrates the best of the best of corporate, agency, nonprofit and education teams and the work they produced during the entry period.
“I’m convinced that 2020 has led our profession to produce some of our most game-changing contributions to business and society, and am humbled to accept PRWeek’s invitation to curate the most winning and provocative work as chair of judges for the 2021 PRWeek Awards U.S.,” said Greene.
Greene leads reputation-building and global communications, government affairs and citizenship and sustainability strategies for the parent company of KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, the Habit Burger Grill and Wing Street. She also chairs its Recipe for Good council for environmental, social and governance issues.
Greene joined Yum Brands as VP of communications in 2011. Previously, she was EVP at Edelman and held executive positions at Deloitte, Burson-Marsteller and Willis Towers Watson. Greene is also a member of the Fast Company Impact Council and Page.
Now celebrating its 22nd year, the PRWeek Awards is firmly established as the communications industry’s highest accolade. It celebrates the best of the best corporate, agency, nonprofit, and education teams and the work they produced during the entry period.
