White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany confirmed in a tweet Monday she tested positive for COVID-19.
She said she is experiencing no symptoms and will begin the quarantine process while working remotely.
“As an essential worker, I have worked diligently to provide needed information to the American people at this time,” she said in the tweet. “With my recent positive test, I will begin the quarantine process and will continue working on behalf of the American people remotely.”

McEnany’s positive diagnosis makes her the latest person in President Trump’s inner circle to contract the virus.
Trump tested positive Thursday and has been undergoing treatment at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center since Friday after experiencing symptoms.
Others who have tested positive include Trump aide Hope Hicks; his campaign manager, Bill Stepien; three Republican U.S. senators; and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
McEnany did not travel with Trump to a fundraiser in New Jersey Thursday, but she attended a White House event on Sept. 26 where Trump announced his Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett.
