FAIRFAX, VA: ICF Next has promoted Kris Tremaine to the role of group lead and senior managing partner.

Prior to the promotion, Tremaine, a 13-year vet at the company, was ICF Next’s chief transformation and operations officer, a job she took after leading ICF’s digital experience, IT modernization, analytics and marketing and communications offering for public sector clients, according to a statement from ICF Next.

The company also upped Caryn McGarry to SVP and chief human resources officer. McGarry was first hired in 2017 as ICF’s head of talent acquisition and then was promoted to vice president of ICF’s HR centers of expertise in 2019.

Revenues for ICF rose 7% in 2019 to $266.6 million according to the PRWeek Agency Business Report 2020.

ICF Next is ICF’s marketing, communications and digital transformation agency. It was created in December 2018 via the combination of Olson Engage, Olson Digital, Olson1to1, PulsePoint Group, the Future Customer, We Are Vista and other shops.

Bryan Specht, ICF Next’s former chief growth and innovation officer, left the agency and started a consultancy called Salient Group Ventures in January. In May, Specht joined W2O Group as a group president.

Last August, ICF named John Wasson as CEO, succeeding Sudhakar Kesavan.
