Following a pitch, the gallery picked Ogilvy as its comms agency of record.
The appointment will see Ogilvy driving PR and strategic comms efforts for the client in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The agency will also draw on its integrated comms offerings as well as its knowledge of the arts and culture sector. The goal is to present the gallery as Singapore's top cultural attraction and build its global reputation as a leading art and research institution.
Chris Lee, CMO for the National Gallery Singapore, said, "Ogilvy's deep understanding of our business and ambition, coupled with its strategic capabilities, creativity and extensive media and influencer networks in the region, make it the fitting choice as our public relations partner."
Ogilvy Singapore is also the agency of record for the The A List, an arts and culture digital portal and an initiative by the National Arts Council.
