New leadership at The PHA Group

Shelley Frosdick and Stuart Skinner have been appointed joint group managing directors and will succeed chief executive Mark Gregory, who has retired after 13 years with The PHA Group. Read more.

Dan Tredler joins Broadcast Revolution 

Broadcast Revolution has hired Dan Tredler as a director to help founder Phil Caplin deliver “bigger, better broadcast for the PR industry”. He joins from 4media group, where he spent eight years working with brands such as Admiral Insurance, Bridgestone, Oxfam and MED-EL on campaigns featuring full media relations, research and insight, video production and traditional PR. He previously worked with Caplin at Sound Creative and EMR.  

Spreckley hires head of content

Independent b2b technology PR agency Spreckley has appointed Adam Hartley as head of content, launching a dedicated content division and strengthening its core leadership team. He brings more than 22 years of b2b and consumer technology PR and journalism experience as a technology news editor, content strategist and consultant leading technology agencies. More recently, he has held senior PR and content strategy roles at Hotwire PR, Here Technologies and Hewlett Packard.

William Murray’s new MD

Specialist foodservice agency William Murray PR & Marketing has appointed Fiona Hamilton as its managing director. Read more.

Run Communications new hires 

Run Communications has appointed digital comms expert Mark Gilbert as its latest senior hire, and Mark Coughlan to run its digital and social communications. Gilbert has joined the agency on a consultancy basis to bolster its digital offering for current clients and grow new business. He spent four years at the Football Association as head of digital communications. Coughlan will help grow the social-media channels of both clients and the agency. Previously, he spent more than three years leading the digital communications at Richmond Rugby Club and Wentworth Golf Club.

PRCA’s new board

The PRCA has refreshed its board to improve the representation of women and BAME professionals. Industry stalwarts and leaders of Edelman, Omnicom Public Relations and Lansons have made way for the new line-up. Read more.
